Add Bullet Points/Numbered list. As with many note-taking applications, OneNote does support adding bullet points or numbering scheme to the note. Allen Wyatt's WordTips site provides a great list of keyboard shortcuts for altering a paragraph's spacing (Ctrl+1 for single space, Ctrl+2 for double space), alignment (Ctrl+L aligns left, Ctrl+R. ALT Codes for Bullet Point Symbols. Below is the complete list of Windows ALT key numeric pad codes for bullet point symbols (bullet signs), their corresponding HTML entity numeric character references and, when available, their corresponding HTML entity named character references. To insert a bullet point symbol in Word, place the insertion pointer at where you want to insert the symbol, hold down the Alt key, then press 0149 on the numeric keypad, then release the Alt key – this will insert a bullet point symbol into your Word document. Insert using the Insert Symbol dialog.
Is there anyway to assign Keyboard Shortcuts to toggle a bullet-point list on and off, as well as Indent and Outdent the bullets? This would make a massive difference to my productivity, life, and over all well-being!

- I hope I'm not hijacking this, but I want to broaden this question. Is there a way in 5.0 to edit/set keyboard shortcuts for notes editor, including toggling bullet points as Jamie is asking?
One feature that was removed in the transition from v4 to v5 is the ability to change the note style from Paragraph to various headers. In v4, you could hit CTRL+1 (or 2, 3, etc) to change the style to the corresponding header. That feature is now gone. Is there a way to change settings and bring it back?
This is still possible in 5.0, cf. https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/keyboard_shortcuts#notesOne feature that was removed in the transition from v4 to v5 is the ability to change the note style from Paragraph to various headers. Windows/Linux: Shift+Alt+1/6 ; Mac: Ctrl+Alt+1/6- Dear all,
Just discovered (on a mac at least) that using the 'Tab' key now further indents bullets. 'Shift + Tab' brings them the other way. Hooray! Several years saved over the course of a lifetime, I'm sure!
All best,
Jamie - I too am looking for this functionality!
Zotero uses TinyMCE which means it currently comes with the keyboard shortcuts defined here:
https://www.tiny.cloud/docs/advanced/keyboard-shortcuts/
However TinyMCE also has the ability for Zotero to add custom shortcuts:
https://www.tiny.cloud/docs/api/tinymce/tinymce.shortcuts/
I would personally also find shortcuts for bulleted and numbered lists super useful. In an ideal world for me, they'd be the same as in Google Docs (Cmd+Shift+7/8), but maybe whatever shortcut Word uses could be a parallel shortcut?
